Since the Coronavirus pandemic first began, information and updates have been constantly changing. Here we will link to state and national resources that will be updated by those entities. This will also be a place for Balance of State notices related to our own funding and resources. 
Balance of State Updates and Resources

There is a surge of new COVID-19 cases across the rural counties of Michigan. The Balance of State encourages communities to reconvene any previously retired special planning meetings and begin talking early about winter shelter and testing plans. Information on winter shelter planning compiled by HUD can be found here.

The tool linked above is designed to help your community plan, shelter and house people as safely as possible. It was discussed at the April 9, 2020 Governance Council meeting in greater detail and the meeting recording is available on the Governance Meetings page.
